Project information
Project description:
Because of the increase in ICT and television waste disposal, Delmeco designed, delivered and installed an ICT and TV processing line for Sims Recycling Solutions. It helps them to process 20 ft. Containers with ICT and television waste in a safe way (taking into account H&S regulations and the environment).
The assignment comprised:
- Constructing the installation (prefab) at Delmeco;
- Constructing control panels incl. automation testing at Delmeco;
- Installing (E and W) on site at Sims in Eindhoven. The installation mainly consists of:
- Two dump conveyors on which the container contents are dumped (in doses);
- Various conveyors, including sorting conveyors;
- Various separation machines;
- Various support constructions and platforms;
- Various controls (central and local) for electrical control and/or automation incl. various cameras to guard the entire process;
- A complete air treatment installation (exhaust) for substance control during the entire process;
- Running a SAT (Site Acceptance Test) at Sims.
