In Coroos production process, considerable attention is given to the ecological footprint and contributing to a more sustainable world. This has led to a growing demand for the electrification of industrial processes.

Coroos Kapelle Inkoopstation elektrificatie

The foundation of the sustainability transition is a Roadmap, developed in close collaboration with Coroos by Delmeco Consulting and Engineering Agency. The Roadmap describes the electrification process and the various steps required to make the transition to sustainable energy sources.

The first step in implementing the Roadmap was the installation of a new purchasing station, which will provide for the procurement and distribution of electrical energy across the Coroos site. The design takes into account the intended final situation, with consideration given to the expected future energy demand and redundancy in the energy distribution system in order to further enhance operational reliability.

With the completion of this purchasing station, an important step has been taken towards the further electrification of industrial processes. In collaboration with Alfen, Delmeco designed, supplied, installed and delivered the new purchasing station ready for operation.

The next phase involves connecting the existing installation to the new purchasing station.
