Element Materials Technology B.V. approached Delmeco Raadgevend Ingenieursbureau B.V. to design a climatic cabinet capable of creating specific temperature conditions for conducting various material tests. The cabinet is designed to operate within a temperature range from –180 °C to +250 °C and is mounted onto an existing testing machine. A dedicated operator trolley was also designed to control the climatic cabinet. Delmeco Projecten B.V. was responsible for the manufacturing, testing, and delivery of both the climate cabinet and the operator trolley.

Scope of work (disciplines: mechanical engineering, electrical engineering, and automation):

  • Design, engineering, and drafting of the climate cabinet and control trolley

  • Manufacturing of the climate cabinet and control trolley

  • Factory Acceptance Test (FAT) at Delmeco

  • On-site installation and commissioning

  • Site Acceptance Test (SAT)

Delmeco was responsible for the full turn-key delivery of the climate cabinet including the control trolley—covering all engineering disciplines from initial design to final realization.
